Rev. Jeff Eddings works for the Presbyterian Mission Agency as the Spiritual Formation and Coaching Associate for the 1001 New Worshiping Communities initiative. He is certified as an ACC coach with the International Coaching Federation and is an iEQ9 Enneagram coach. He is a Spiritual Director for the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and for the past year he has been a facilitator for the Confronting Whiteness curriculum. www.jeffeddings.com
Karen Gelston, an elder at Second United Presbyterian Church of Wilkinsburg, is a retired Pittsburgh Public teacher.
Dr. Jim Gilchrist is semi-retired, teaching history and religion part-time at Carnegie Mellon University. He previously served as a pastor in Presbyterian and Methodist churches, directed two non-profit organizations, and taught at Dickinson College and Pittsburgh Seminary.
Dr. Peter Gilmore is a part-time instructor in history at the university level. He is a ruling elder at Sixth Presbyterian Church and has been Chair of the congregation’s Justice Team. Gilmore is active with Friends of Sabeel North America and participated in the Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network. He is the retired managing editor of the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers Union (UE)’s official newspaper.
Alan Hohlfelder is a retired Architect. He is a life-long Presbyterian and is currently serving as an Elder at Bower Hill Community Church in Mt. Lebanon. He serves on the Board of Directors of Casa San Jose and does volunteer work with South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) and The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
Rev. Ralph Lowe serves as the Associate Minister for Congregational Support and Justice Ministries. In this role, Ralph provides leadership in justice ministries dismantling barriers preventing truth, justice, and reconciliation as well as guidance for churches through transition and congregational vitality. He is the proud husband of Kelli and father of four: Jonah, Joshua, Koen, and Korey.
Rev. Carol Divens Roth is retired, having served several congregations as an interim pastor and on the presbytery staff as interim pastor to small congregations. She is currently a member of the newly formed Matthew 25 on the Move ministry team which seeks to foster and lift up efforts to live out our commitment as a Matthew 25 presbytery.
Rev. Gavin B.J. Walton is the pastor of Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh’s historic Hill District. Gavin is also the co-organizer of an anti-racist, interfaith leaders group in the Pittsburgh area which seeks to support its members in their advocacy work to their respective congregations and communities.
Rev. B. De Neice Welch, Ph.D. is the Senior Pastor of Bidwell Presbyterian Church. Dr. Welch is the National Director for Ntosake (En- toe- sock-ee), a women’s leadership development training program for the Gamaliel Foundation. Dr. Welch serves as a board member of Federated Guardians. She is also the Vice President of the Pittsburgh Branch of he Association for the Study of African American Life & History.
